The relationship began in 2020, at the beginning of Covid. Pat started buying lumber for Taiga and Raegan was selling lumber for Rosboro. We talked to each other on the phone almost every day for 13 months, each intrigued by the voice on the other end. We finally met in person in May of 2021 in Eugene. The business meeting that day wasn't memorable but after work we met up with some coworkers and friends for drinks and found ourselves sitting next to each other. We've been told, "Sparks flew".
Our first date was wine tasting in Ashland. It was a little unique as we ended up going to only one winery, for five hours, just getting to know each other. We both left with the same thought, "I think I'm in a relationship!". Our second date was a long weekend in Healdsburg and after the incredible Italian picnic lunch at Dutcher Crossing we were both in love.
We've spent the last four years sharing our lives and becoming a couple. Getting to know each other's families and friends has been a great experience. Now our greatest joy is spending time with everybody, especially the little ones. We do a lot of travelling up and down between Oregon and California with the goal of being where we need to be most supportive.
We both realized early on we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and marriage is that commitment. Pat proposed, on one knee, this last June at Disneyland surrounded by our family. Raegan said yes and here we are.
We want our wedding celebration to be a party. Informal, relaxed and casual. Please have a great time.
